Halaqat Media Arts Residency | Spring 2022 | Brussels 

I'm beyond excited to be one of the selected artists for the Spring 2022 Halaqat Media Arts Residency, organised by Bozar - Centre for Fine Arts Brussels and the Goethe-Institut, together with iMAL in Belgium and Cairotronica in Egypt. The 4 selected artists are: Ana Teresa Vicente (Portugal), Natalia Jordanova (Bulgaria), Sabah Khaled Abouelhadid Elsayed Hassan (Egypt), and Sally Samaan (Syria).

Optical and haptic entanglements: sensory encounters in Karina Smigla Bobinski's artworks

The intimate and interactive nature of Karina Smigla-Bobinski's work is a springboard to explore how feelings of reciprocity and connection arise in her work in a participatory way. Interview with the artist published at FLAT Journal, a platform that engages with contemporary conversations surrounding emerging media in the arts.

A new iteration of Wandering Gaze was shown at the Taipei Photo Festival 2020, Taiwan.
